Not On Memorial but with Te Aroha Connection

These fallen soldiers have a Te Aroha connection prior to enlisting but have not made the list on the town's memorial. I don't know what criteria there was for the memorial; these men who sacrificed their lives can be remembered through other means, such as this blog.

Some of the criteria for getting into this list include being born in the district, next of kin living in the district during the war, working or had worked in the district. It is possible that some of these men will be remembered on other memorials around the country but I think it is important that these men are remembered wherever they had a connection.

This list is likely to have updates as more soldiers with a local connection come to light.
